TowerPoint Names Jesse Wellner as CEO

ATLANTA, July 23, 2014 – Leading institutional investor in cellular site locations across the US, TowerPoint today announced that its Board of Directors has appointed eleven year industry veteran Jesse Wellner as Chief Executive Officer. Wellner previously held the position of Managing Director and head of TowerPoint’s national originations platform.

Since joining TowerPoint in 2009, Wellner has led TowerPoint’s origination platform and strategic business development initiatives. During his tenure, Wellner has directed a series of highly successful capital markets initiatives, raising both institutional equity and debt for TowerPoint’s operations and acquisitions. Most notably, Wellner architected senior management’s recent acquisition of the company from Land Lease Group (LLG) and subsequent partnership with Alliance Berstein Private Credit Investors.
